MMP's Media & Communications Institute is an intensive weekend workshop that brings together leaders from the Philadelphia region seeking solutions to the problems faced by poor and working people. The Institute is an opportunity for these leaders to gain messaging skills and use today's media tools to win their battles for rights and dignity. In this episode, Bryan Mercer of Media Mobilizing Project, and Leon Tyer of ACT UP Philadelphia speak about the Institute and why media is such a crucial tool in today's struggles.
